Air Deflectors Air deflectors on the Ford F100 attach to the U brace that the radiator attaches to. The grille bolts up to the air deflector on the other side of the radiator and u shaped piece. Air deflectors are different between 53-55 and 56 Ford F100's mostly because the headlights on a 56 Ford F100 are recessed in the grille pushing the headlight bucket back into the air deflector. That is why there is a bowl shaped indentation on the 1956 Ford F100 air deflectors.
